Luangwa River Lodge This has been operating since November 2004, the newest luxury lodge in the park. With all the creature comforts of a five star lodge yet with all the intimacy, tailored activities and flexible mealtimes you come to expect from a bush camp, South Luangwa is like nothing else on offer in the Luangwa Valley.
The lodge is itself is unique with its décor (all locally crafted and hand made) and great attention to detail has been made of the lodge throughout. With just 8 rooms it is one of the smallest lodges in Mfuwe but is without doubt the most luxurious.

The lodge is elevated between 1-3 metres on wooden decks affording great views to the park and river.The Swimming pool is sunk into the deck on two levels with a waterfall adjoining the two pools (one for swimming and the other for seating)
