Chikoko Tree Camp This is completely secluded in a road free zone; located just 10 minutes from the airstrip at Lukuzi in the South Luangwa David Livingstone crossed the Luangwa River at ‘Perekani’ only a few hundred metres from the Chikoko.
Chikoko is so unique in design that you will be at one with nature as you blend in with the natural colours of the surrounding bush. 3 double chalets made of local mopane wood are raised on stilts 3 metres above the camp floor and overlook Acacia Park, teeming with game. A relaxing afternoon tea can be a great way to watch the endless array of animals from the comfort of your own bedroom, or wait until you are in the hands on an expert on the trail to see the more elusive cats or perhaps the famous Pel’s Fishing Owl in the trees of the Luangwa.
