Busanga Bush Camp

This is one of the Wilderness Safaris most authentic safaricamps located in the heart of the Busanga Plains in Kafue. With only three rooms (four for group bookings is possible) the camp, discreetly hidden away from view, is located on an island overlooking the Busanga Plains; an expanse of seasonal floodplains that play host to some of the most untouched and unspoilt game viewing in Africa, with superb views over the floodplains in front of the camp Each room is tented with thatch walls and large doors that open out onto the floodplains themselves.

Lufupa

This lodge has the most attractive setting of all of the Kafue river lodges set on the confluence of the Kafue and Lufupa Rivers. Originally created as a family home, the lodge has a somewhat bizarre design; the kitchen and the manager’s houses have by far the most desirable views and the majority of the rooms are set back, approximately fifty yards from the river itself.

Kapinga

This is located in Kafue and designed to blend in with the environment and natural products have been used as much as possible in the construction of the camp. Interiors are spacious and have all the modern conveniences that one would wish for. With only three luxury safari tents accommodating a maximum of 6 guests, one can be assured of exceptional personal attention.

Shumba

It is situated in Kafue and comprises six spacious luxury safari tents on raised platforms with breathtaking views of the surrounding plains. A maximum of 12 guests can be accommodated at any one time and great emphasis has been placed on the “guided” experience - being led by qualified, enthusiastic people with in-depth knowledge of the area and its wildlife.

Lunga River Lodge

This is situated in the North East of the Kafue, on the banks of the Lunga River. With only six rooms the lodge is miles from anywhere (linked by its own private airstrip) and guests can therefore experience a beautiful stretch of the river completely untouched by other people.
